Snaptubè is a free multimedia application from Razack Fagbire that enables users to download videos, audio, and images from their social media timelines. This app also has its own built-in media player so that you can watch your downloaded videos and listen to your saved music files in one convenient platform.
Snaptubè also supports a variety of file types, such as MP3, M4A, MOV, AVI, DOC, XLS, PDF, and TXT. You’ll also be able to manage all your downloaded files within the app, much like in similar tools like SaveFrom Net - App.
Scan for available files to download
Snaptubè's comprehensive user interface is easy to use and explore. Users will be able to access the source URL of their chosen media through the in-app browser and the app will automatically scan the page for any available videos and images and begin downloading. All you need to do is click on the download button indicated next to the files you want to save.
This tool also allows you to download videos in your chosen resolution. You can opt to save them in 240P for a lower file size or in full 1080P resolution for a much more high-quality viewing experience. Users also have the option to download multiple files at once, however, this can take extra time to download, even when you’re connected to a stable internet connection.
The app also has a high frequency of bugs that cause it to freeze and crash, which can be frustrating when you’re in the middle of downloading a file. When this issue occurs, you will need to download the files once more as crashing forcibly stops the download. There are also instances where the app will redirect you to a blank page.
Too many bugs
While Snaptubè has a number of great features—from a convenient built-in browser to the ability to find downloadable media files in a snap—there are too many issues that can make it difficult to actually make use of the app for its purpose.
